Our Client, a NYC based Owner and full service management and brokerage firm of luxury residential properties, is looking for a Residential Compliance Manager with at least 5 years’ experience in multifamily rental housing. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to work well within a corporate environment is required.
Monitoring, reporting and management of compliance requirements for large residential portfolio and several commercial NY based buildings.
· Knowledge of: Rent stabilization, Statutes, Riders, Rent regulation, Valuations, Building registrations, Paint notices & Window guard notices
Knowledge of New York City regulations, laws and programs (including but not limited to DOB, DEP, ECB, FDNY, Landmarks Preservation Commission)
Drafts advisory compliance memoranda, bulletins, training materials, policies and procedures covering new and existing laws and regulations affecting the portfolio and maintains accessible records of such materials.
· Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, at all levels of the organization
· Excellent MS Office Suite skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project) & Yardi a plus
· Prior experience managing database systems.
