Asset Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Our client, a NYC based Owner of multiple net leased retail and industrial sites is looking for a 'Senior Asset Manager'.
Must be familiar with all aspects of asset managing a portfolio of NET LEASED high end strip shopping centers and large industrial sites. i.e.; property tax and insurance issues, tenant compliance and mortgage documents etc. Must have a working knowledge of the CMBS market and debt structuring and basic loan documents. Acquisition experience of similar types of properties is a plus.
Additional responsibilities and experience:
• Site inspections of prospective acquisitions and currently owned properties
• Track net operating income on non-triple net leased properties and project year-end NOI
• Run valuation models
• Interaction with current tenants; trouble shooting
• Interact with real estate and mortgage brokers with regard to owned properties and prospective financing;
• Assist in the drafting of agreements, when necessary
• Special investment projects, as required
• Architectural and/or Engineering experience necessary

Candidate must have excellent writing, financial/quantitative skills and superior Excel and Argus skills. A minimum of 5 years
of asset management of net leased properties and an Architectural or Engineering degree is a plus. Some travel is required and candidate must possess effective organizational,
planning, interpersonal and communication skills.

This is a Park Avenue based small 'buttoned up' firm. The position reports directly to the Ownership. A four year college degree is required.
