Mary A. Ward, President

As President of MW Search Specialists, Mary Ward heads the Executive Search firm specializing in the Real Estate Industry.  The firm enjoys relationships with many of the premier real estate owner/developers, fee managers, insurance companies, domestic and foreign banks and investment banking entities in the United States.  MW Search Specialists also works with companies who sell services back to real estate organizations.

Mary Ward has many years of experience in commercial real estate both in Canada and the United States.  She spent over twelve years with a large Canadian real estate company managing a portfolio of office buildings, shopping centers and office parks in Canada, California and Illinois.  After spending several years with the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation operating regional shopping centers she joined a New York based national real estate firm as a Regional Vice President overseeing a portfolio of commercial real estate in excess of 6 million square feet.  Having acted in a senior executive capacity and having frequently worked closely with other senior executives, Mary Ward has an in-depth understanding of the mechanics of real estate companies.  Additionally, her broad real estate experience provides her with the knowledge and insight to evaluate and counsel candidates for appropriate positions.

Mrs. Ward has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta and holds the CPM and CSM designations earned through many active years with the ICSC.  She is active in numerous New York business and charitable organizations and plays an active role in her community.  Mary resides with her husband Richard Powers in Mill Neck on Long Island, NY.
   
  Cassandra Pratt, Executive Vice President

Cassandra Pratt joined MW Search Specialists in 2003 after spending a year in London as an executive search consultant. She has worked in the executive search industry for seven years specializing in real estate and senior executive placement.

Prior to her career in executive search Cassandra worked as an analyst for American Express in the Proprietary Fund group.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts.  

Cassandra is involved in numerous community and professional groups including BOMA, IREM, The Foundation for Tomorrow (New York Executive Committee), The Fountain Galley and Ronald McDonald House. 

Cassandra resides in the West Village in New York City.
