OPERATIONS MANAGER


POSITION SUMMARY
Our client, an Owner of Residential Real Estate located in NYC, is looking for an 'Operations Manager' to handle all engineering and operations/management functions for a portfolio NYC residential buildings.

Candidates must have:

NYC engineering/operations and management experience in residential rental buildings and/or NYC commercial buildings


Responsible for day to day engineering and management issues in a portfolio of older luxury rental buildings with a total of approximately 1500 units.

Hands on supervisory skills and the ability to handle difficult project management and construction assignments.



Must be able to write and prepare specs, deal with day to day tenant issues and be familiar with budget preparation and implementation. Good with 'paperwork' and very organized is a must



An operating engineer background with some property management experience would be a good fit for this position.

Schedule and monitor maintenance and repairs, negotiate contracts with vendors, and regularly inspect property to ensure the properties are maintained appropriately.

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and have extensive knowledge of city, state and federal codes. Supervisory experience is also required.

Hand's on 'Boiler Room' experience is a plus and must make a very professional appearance. This is a 'suit and tie' position. . .

College degree is a plus and good computer skills are mandatory. . .



Salary to $120K with full and excellent benefits. This is a non-union position. . ..
